Open on Monday Wednesday and Friday mornings (during school term ) and provides food parcels and other help to people in need.
The Haven Cafe
We have an informal cafe and offer people a warm welcome, some food, a cuppa and a friendly person to talk with. The managers of CareWorks are Vikki Zrim and Gayle Morley and there are many volunteers who help out.
Op Shop
The Op Shop is a place where second-hand goods and clothing can be re-sold thus helping people in need and raising money for the work of the church. It has undergone several improvements over the last few years and now has a welcoming, professional look. Lesley and Genevieve are the managers of the op shop and there is a number of dedicated volunteers working with them. Open from 10 am – 2 pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Food@Five
Food@Five is a community meal held every Tuesday night of the school term. The manager of this program is Michelle Humphries and Max Brown who is supported by many volunteers from our congregation and the community. Here the hall is transformed with nicely set tables and guests are served a two-course meal. People come not only to enjoy the meal but to enjoy fellowship.
We are running but are mindful that COVID still exists.
