Girls' Brigade Motto To: Seek, Serve and Follow Christ

Girls Brigade at Noarlunga meets on Tuesdays (during school terms) from 6.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. (recommences for 2017 on Tuesday, 7th February.”)

Girls’ Brigade is a worldwide Organisation that equips girls and young women in life and leadership skills while building up their faith and relationship with God and others in a safe and secure environment Girls’ Brigade offers weekly activities for girls. On any given night they could be singing a song, baking a cake, learning a dance, painting a picture, watching a movie, making new friends, playing a new game, acting in a play, baking biscuits to give to others in the community, helping those in need, learning a new craft, exploring the Bible and experiencing GOD'S love in action! There are four groups in Girls’ Brigade; Cadets (4-8 years old), Juniors (7-11 years old), Seniors (10-14 years old) and Pioneers (13-18 years old). Girls are able to join the age appropriate group anytime once they have started school. The girls in each group work towards awards that are received at the end of each year. The awards involve girls completing achievements that focus on spiritual, educational, social and physical themes. During their teenage years, girls have the opportunity to participate in a series of Leadership Training Courses that will equip them with skills which will benefit them and the wider community, helping them discover what it means to have life to the full in their generation. All Leaders within Girls’ Brigade are volunteers, trained, equipped and supported with resources from Girls’ Brigade Australia and other GB Leaders. All Leaders have provided current National Police Checks and participated in Child Safe training. Girls’ Brigade members pay Fees ($60.00 per term) which cover International, National and State Membership Fees, insurance, postage, stationery, photocopying, and craft/cooking materials etc that the girls use each week.  Girls’ Brigade is not a profit making organization and all money is spent on the benefit of the girls. Noarlunga is one of the four groups (formerly called “companies”) in South Australia. There are currently 113 Girls’ Brigade groups meeting around Australia.
